British actress Emma Watson received a standing ovation for her starring role in a student play - despite battling nerves over her debut university performance.
The Harry Potter star played Olga Sergeyevna Prozorova in an adaption of Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters at Brown University in Rhode Island, where she is studying, earlier this month (Mar10).
And the string of six shows went down well with Watson's fellow students.
A source tells Britain's The Sun, "Emma was nervous beforehand but was faultless in her role. She has been juggling coursework with rehearsals and learning lines so she's had a lot on her plate.
"Emma was over the moon that every show was a full house. She also made some new friends while doing it."
