Emma Watson feels ''incredibly uncomfortable'' receiving recognition for her acting.

The 25-year-old actress, who's best known for her starring role in the 'Harry Potter' franchise, has revealed she never had a specific ambition to become an actress, suggesting it was a profession she simply fell into.

Asked if she ever wanted to be an actress, she told UK Vogue magazine: ''I don't know.

''It's so hard to articulate ... It's something I've really wrestled with. I've gone back and I've quizzed my parents. When I was younger, I just did it. I just acted. It was just there.

''So now when I receive recognition for my acting, I feel incredibly uncomfortable. I tend to turn in on myself. I feel like an imposter.''

Meanwhile, Emma is set to play Belle in the upcoming live-action adaptation of 'Beauty and the Beast'.

Following her casting, Emma wrote on Facebook: ''I'm finally able to tell you... that I will be playing Belle in Disney's new live-action Beauty and the Beast! It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There'.

''My six year old self is on the ceiling - heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can't wait for you to see it. Emma xx''
