Emma Stone unsurprisingly stole the show at Tuesday's premiere for 'The Help' in Los Angeles. The 22-year-old, quickly becoming one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood, donned a pale grey Chanel dress from the 2011 Couture collection.
The actress accessorized the look with tan pumps and a white chain-strap bag, also by Chanel. Set in Jackson, Mississippi, in the 1960's, 'The Help' follows a group of black maids and the difficult white housewives they work for. Stone plays a college graduate who begins to write a book about the maids after returning to her hometown. Speaking to US Weekly at the premiere, Stone said acting in a female-driven cast was exhilarating, saying, "People always tend to think that if there are a lot of women, it must be catty or it must be tough, and it wasn't at all! It was an insanely great experience that I wish I could repeat every summer for the rest of my life!" The movie, which also Viola Davis and Bryce Dallas Howard, is already tipped for a possible Oscar nomination when the list is announced early next year.
Emma Stone will soon begin work on 'The Gangster Squad' - a crime drama featuring an all-star cast including Ryan Gosling and Sean Penn. The movie chronicles the Lapd's fight to keep East Coast Mafia out of Los Angeles in the 1940's.
