Emma Stone has received an interactive love letter from the Hollywood comedian Jim Carrey. The Ace Ventura and Dumb & Dumber star took to his blog on Wednesday (24th August 2011) to post a clip declaring his love for America's biggest new female movie star.
Positioned in an extreme close up, the actor opens up with, "This is a message for Emma Stone. Emma, I just want to let you know that you're all-the-way beautiful. If I were a lot younger I would marry you". Keeping a straight face, the actor continues, "we would have chubby little freckled-faced kids...Every day for the rest of your life, you would thank God that I was the appropriate age for you". Jim has been married on two occasions, once to Comedy Store waitress Melissa Womer and later to his Dumb & Dumber co-star Lauren Holly. He also dated actress Renee Zellweger but the couple broke off their engagement in December 2000. Later in the video, Carrey acknowledges the age difference between himself and Stone, joking, "I'm 49. I have lines on my face, sometimes a little grey in my beard, and it takes me a little longer to pee than it used to. Those are the only discernible signs of aging that I can find so far".
Carrey, whose representative has already confirmed the video is a comedic piece, most recently starred in the family-comedy movie 'Mr Popper's Penguins'. Emma Stone, who is reportedly dating her Spiderman co-star Andrew Garfield, currently stars in Tate Taylor's drama 'The Help'.
