Emma Willis, aka Emma Griffiths, has welcomed her second child with her husband, the former Busted bass player Matt Willis. The television presenter gave birth to a baby boy on Friday (25 November 2011) and named the new arrival Ace Billy Willis.
Both mother and baby are doing well, with Emma telling the Daily Mirror's Dean Piper, "Ace is looking good and I look like crap. Can't wait for you to meet him". A delighted Matt told followers on Twitter, "have a son and his name is Ace!". When one follower suggested he should have taken the middle name 'Ventura', as in Jim Carrey's famous character, Matt replied, "Went for Billy so if he want[s] to be like a f*cking banker or something he can use that instead!". Despite the unusual name, the couple are not the first to name their son Ace - the All Saints singer Natalie Appleton used the name for her son, as did No Doubt guitarist TOM DUMONT. A former model who began her television career with MTV UK, Emma recently presented Channel 5's former evening show Live from Studio Five and became a regular host from Easter 2010. She quit to front the Big Brother show 'Big Brother's Little Brother' and later the sister show Big Brother's Bit on the Side', which began in August 2011.
Also giving birth on Friday evening was British pop star Lily Allen, who welcomed a baby girl with husband Sam Cooper. She is yet to officially comment on the birth, but did tweet, "Totes amaze".
