The current series of ‘Big Brother’ hasn't even ended yet and we’re already gearing up for the celebrity edition. Channel 5 have announced that the summer edition of 'Celebrity Big Brother' will begin on July 28 at 9pm, with a new logo and a new house for the famous guests.

The newly unveiled logo features a gold and white eye with a smashed star running through the middle. As usual not much has been revealed about what’s in store for the celebs, but they will need to remember that all that glitters is not gold.

Once the regular housemates leave, the house will be given a makeover for the celebs and lets hope it’s a good one, as this series will reportedly be the longest ever, lasting 35 days. The series will once again be hosted by Emma Willis, with Rylan fronting spin-off show 'Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side'.

So who will be entering the house? Well as with every series it’s a closely guarded secret, but there are a handful of heavily rumoured names. Already from the world of reality TV, ‘Googlebox’s' Chris Steed and Stephen Webb are said to be entering, as well as Lady C.

Also rumoured is former ‘X Factor’ contestant Katie Waissel, who finished seventh on the competition in 2010. Another former ‘X Factor’ contestant whose name has come up is Lauren Murray, who competed on the show in 2015.

The show usually brings in at least one US name and this year rapper Lil Kim is rumoured to be crossing the pond. According to The Daily Star Kim has been offered the highest amount ever given to a contestant to enter the house.

A source told the newspaper: “Producers are thrilled they’ve finally got her. It’s taken a lot of cash but they are confident she will be worth it.” The other rumoured American name is Renee Graziano, who is best know for appearing on VH1’s ‘Mob Wives’.

Other names who have been hotly tipped are former ‘Coronation Street’ actress Helen Flanagan, ‘Ab Fab’ actress Helen Lederer, who was previously approached in 2009, 80's pin-up Samantha Fox and Anthea Turner’s ex-husband Grant Bovey.
