British pop star Emma Bunton fears the Spice Girls will never reform again because their performance at the 2012 Olympic Games was a career highlight.

The Wannabe hitmakers thrilled Tv viewers around the world at the closing ceremony of the sporting showpiece in London, following on from their 2007 comeback tour.

Last month (Apr14), bandmember Victoria Beckham confirmed the Olympics show was the "last time" she would appear onstage with the Spice Girls, and now fellow singer Bunton admits she also doubts the group could ever top that moment.

She tells Seven Days magazine, "After the Olympics and representing our country, that was such a big highlight and such a big thing to follow. I was speaking to Mel C (bandmate Melanie Chisholm) the other day and we were saying that was the best thing we'd ever done. It's so hard to follow that. I always say, 'Who knows?'. But it's definitely not something that's on the cards right now."
