Superstar rapper Eminem - real name Marshall Mathers - has seen his wife, Kimberly Mathers, sentenced to a month in jail for taking cocaine during her probation. On 12th February 2004 judge Edward Servitto ordered Mathers to serve 30 days in Macomb County Jail in Michigan, before serving a 90-day substance abuse treatment program.
The mother of Eminem's daughter, Hailie, tested positive to drug use as part of a urine test on 29th January 2004 when meeting her probation agent. According to Michigan Department of Corrections, Mathers missed a meeting with her probation agent in February, before later meeting and admitting to cocaine use.
Her probation was sentenced on 21st January 2004 after Mathers pleaded guilty to charges of possessing 25 grams of cocaine, as well as failing to give enough space for an emergency vehicle. The charges were given in light of a traffic stop in St Clair Shores, Michigan, in June 2003.
