Eminem will become only the 16th act to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart when the new U.S. pop countdown is officially released on Thursday (13May10).
The rapper's Not Afraid has charged to the top of the bestsellers list with 380,000 first-week digital downloads, according to chart compilers at Nielsen SoundScan. That's the biggest sales week for a digital track so far this year (10).
Not Afraid is the first release from Eminem's new album Recovery, which will be released in June (10). It's his third Hot 100 chart-topper.
The last single to debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 was Britney Spears' 3 last year (09).
