The 23-year-old model and actress - who famously appeared topless in the video for Robin Thicke's hit single 'Blurred Lines' last year - has admitted that she doesn't crave junk food but occasionally allows herself to indulge in baked goods.
She told Elle magazine: ''I wouldn't say I am the type of girl who craves Doritos but I definitely love a good cupcake sometimes. 'You know what I mean?.
''Or a croissant in the morning. I think it is like really important to give yourself a break.''
The stunning brunette - who stars alongside Ben Affleck in the upcoming film adaptation of Gillian Flynn's novel 'Gone Girl' - also prefers to cook her own meals to control her sugar and salt intake and as a self-professed ''carnivore'' chooses to whip up iron-rich meat options instead of salads.
She explained: ''I cook a lot, so that really helps. You know how much salt and sugar and all of that kind of stuff you are putting in your body.
''I am definitely not the kind of person who you will find eating a salad.''
In addition to her healthy diet, Emily also relies on a strict exercise regime and counts on her bi-weekly yoga classes to help maintain her incredible figure.
She said: ''Doing yoga a couple of times a week is a really big part of my regime.''
Emily is currently filming 'We Are Your friends' alongside Zac Efron, which is set for release in 2015.
