Emily Mortimer says having a toy of her 'Cars 2' character is the highlight of her career.
The 39-year-old British actress - who has two children, Sam, seven, and 18-month-old May, with husband Alessandro Nivola - voices sexy sports car Holley Shiftwell in the forthcoming animated sequel and was delighted to be presented with a mini replica of her cartoon Alter Ego.
She said: "I'm delighted to have a toy. I had so much pride. It's possibly the highlight of my career."
The 'Match Point' actress - whose father is late actor Sir John Mortimer - also revealed she hadn't planned to become an actress, with her previous career endeavours including writing a newspaper column and penning a screenplay.
She said: "Acting was always something I pretended I didn't want to do when I was growing up."
Emily got her big break after being cast in 1994 TV comedy 'Under the Hammer' - written by her father - before landing her first major film role in 'The Ghost and The Darkness' opposite Michael Douglas and Val Kilmer.
She said shortly after making the movie: "This is not meant to have happened to me at all."
