Emily Blunt was the talk of the Tribeca Film Festival on Wednesday evening (April 18, 2012), when her new movie 'The Five Year Engagement' opened proceedings. Blunt stole the show with her lavish dress from Jason Wu's Pre-Fall 2012 Collection, though the Huffington Post pointed out that the green leaves featured on the gown resembled the marijuana variety.

Blunt matched the dress with a belt and green shoes, which took of the some emphasis off the detailing, though the likeness was uncanny. The actress choosing to wear the gown came as some Americans prepare to celebrate the countercultural holiday (April 20) in which people gather to celebrate and consume cannabis - though we're sure her choice of dress wasn't intentional. Others joining the actress on the red-carpet for the premiere included Amy Poehler, Olivia Wilde, Cuba Gooding Jr, Kim Cattrall, STEVEN GUTTENBERG, Michael Moore and Robert De Niro. It was the movie's star Jason Segel who was also causing a stir with his rumored new girlfriend Michelle Williams. People magazine said, "They were affectionate throughout the night. As the movie ended, he gave her a little kiss on the cheek, as she took off and he stayed in New York's Ziegfeld Theater to chat with friends and well-wishers".

The Five Year Engagement hits cinemas in the U.S. next Friday (April 27, 2012).
