British actress Emily Atack has turned to police after receiving a death threat via Twitter.com.
The blonde beauty, best known for her role in U.K. sitcom The Inbetweeners, filed a complaint with Bedfordshire Police after receiving menacing messages on Tuesday (13Nov12).
One malicious tweet aimed at the star read, "Emily its (sic) time 4 u (sic) to leave this world, ur (your) last hours wnt (won't) be pleasant, but it will achieve the objective."
Atack told followers she had "never read/seen anything so vicious towards me in my whole life" and added, "Police are now on the case."
Officials have confirmed an investigation into the tweets is ongoing.
