British actress Emilia Fox shared the stage with her famous mother Joanna David at a special poetry reading event in London this week (beg10Jun13).

The Silent Witness star teamed up with her mum, who recently joined the cast of hit Tv series Downton Abbey, to celebrate the work of tragic poet Sylvia Plath as part of the Josephine Hart Poetry Hour events in the U.K.

The pair read a number of Plath's poems at the British Library in London on Monday (10Jun13) and the event was hosted by Plath's daughter Frieda Hughes.

However, David admits she was nervous about performing with her daughter in public, telling the London Evening Standard, "It's scary to perform with your daughter. When you stumble over words you wonder if she's thinking, 'Oh God, stupid mother!'"

Plath committed suicide in 1963.
