Rocker Elvis Costello has hit out at fellow Brits OASIS - accusing them of producing just five good songs and a catalogue of re-writes.
The OLIVER'S ARMY hitmaker - who was recently inducted into the ROCK'N'ROLL HALL OF FAME - insists the rockers are washed up, and calls for Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher to come up with something original.
Costello says, "Noel's not a bad lad, he's written, let's face it, five songs - all the rest are re-writes of old songs. Oasis were good, they've had their success.
"Now just shut the f**k up and write something better."
