Top decor guru Martyn Lawrence Bullard revamped the 1960s Beverly Hills mansion and grounds so the couple could live there comfortably with their newborn baby boy Elijah and two-year-old son Zachary.
Furnish reveals he came across the new one-storey home in Trousdale Estates within hours of launching a hunt to find a new pad, and Elton is thrilled with the place, telling Architectural Digest, "It's perfect for Zachary. He just charges through the house like a little firecracker."
The light and airy pad features artwork and sculptures by Tracey Emin, Keith Haring and David LaChappelle, and offers plenty of space for the rocker's glass collection.
He tells the magazine, "There's a Frank Gehry vase we often display on the dining table that's beautiful and extremely valuable, but in the other house (in Los Angeles) it was in the loo, so it was a little wasted. I find glass to be an underrated art form."
Sir Elton and his partner also own homes in Georgia; London; Windsor, England; Nice, France, and Venice, Italy.
