SIR Elton John is urging British pop star Robbie Williams to forget about taking revenge against enemies from his past, and instead focus on the amazing success he's had as a solo artist instead.
ANGELS singer Williams is currently involved in a feud with former Take That manager NIGEL MARTIN-SMITH over a song on his new album, which lawyers believe could be libellous.
In outspoken track THE NINETIES, Williams details how he has fantasised about gouging the pop mogul's eyes out during his time with the chart-topping boy band.
But John advises, "I wish he would please just let it all go. All it is doing is burning a hole inside of him, eating him up, making him angry and miserable.
"He should give himself a pat on the back and be proud of what he's achieved. He's proved himself - he doesn't have to do it any more.
"He should just let the other s**t go, and if he can't, then he needs to see someone and talk about it. It's one of the things I learned from getting sober - to just let the past go."
