British singer Ellie Goulding shunned a night of wild partying when her album dethroned Lady GaGa in the U.K. charts - she spent the evening staring into space and "reflecting".
The star's debut disc, Lights, shot to the top spot on the rundown in March (10), pushing Gaga's The Fame into second place.
But the Starry Eyed hitmaker had no time to celebrate - she was on a tour of Britain at the time of her triumph, and found herself gazing out of her tour bus for hours instead.
Goulding says, "I didn't celebrate. We were driving back from Scotland. We were on tour, in this little tour bus. It was me and my crew and my band, and I went, 'We are number one' and they went, 'Hurray!' and that was it! It was really nice because instead of having a big old celebration with champagne and cake and whatever, I just looked out of the window for ages.
"That sounds really weird but I just reflected on everything. It was a really nice moment."
