U.S. comedienne and TV personality Ellen Degeneres has signed a British teenager to her new eleveneleven record label.
The star will introduce 16-Year-old singer Tom Andrews on her daytime TV show on Thursday (16Sep10).
The youngster, from Exmouth, England has become the second signing to the label, which former American Idol judge DeGeneres launched in May (10) with YouTube.com sensation Greyson Chance. He will release his first album later this year (10).
Chatting to Andrews in a pre-taped segment for her show, the TV star says, "We see people come on the scene but now we get to watch you from the very beginning, all the way through your career. So it's fun for all of us to watch this happen to.
"You are 16 years old and I just called you of the blue at home and I said, 'Hi, I'm Ellen...'"
The unknown teen found his singing voice three years ago after he sang the Beatles' Let It Be at a talent show in Britain.
