Hollywood is set to tackle Egyptian queen CLEOPATRA's life story again with Pulitzer-prize winning author STACY SCHIFF penning the script. It'll be the first time movie studios have made a blockbuster about the ancient royal since Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton stunned the film world with CLEOPATRA in 1963. Schiff will release her own biography about the queen in 2009. Columbia Pictures bosses have secured the film rights.
