Elizabeth Hurley has joined a fledgling modelling agency - in a move which will increase her chances of success in Hollywood.

The British actress and model has moved from IMG to sign up with ICM Models this week (ends13FEB04) - following a long line of top models - including Elizabeth Jagger, Erin O'Connor, JADE PARFITT, VIVIEN SOLARI and ALEX WEK - who have recently defected to the new company.

The 38-year-old decided on the move after chatting to ICM's chairman DUNCAN HEATH, who is a personal friend of the star - and the new company's strong contacts in Hollywood, where it has agents for both writers and directors.

ICM executive FIONA ELLIS says of Hurley's move, "We are delighted that Liz has joined. She is a unique and multi-faceted celebrity. She will be a great asset for us and we are very excited to be representing her.

"We very much look forward to working with Liz and creating further opportunities that will help enhance her career."
