Elizabeth Hurley isn't confident enough to model a bikini.

The former model prefers to ask younger women to strip off in the ads for her luxury swimwear and beachwear range, Elizabeth Hurley Beach, because while its ''fun'' to do photoshoots, she would much rather stay covered.

Asked if she worries about her figure, Liz exclusively told BANG Showbiz at the Comparethemeerkat.com event at The Troxy in East London: ''Oh, yes! Hell yes! I don't tend to do a lot of bikinis now. I do kaftans and one-pieces and we hire someone half my age to do bikinis on the whole.

''But it's always fun to do it and we choose fabulous photographers.''

The 48-year-old beauty also suggested her 10-year-old son Damien - who she has with billionaire Steve Bing - has his eyes set on a life in showbusiness.

She said: ''I think it's great because everything is so exciting for him. He loves showbusiness as it happens and when he gets an opportunity to come to work with me, he does.

''When he had half terms while I was shooting 'Gossip Girl' last year, he came on set the whole time and he loved it. ''

Liz is engaged to retired Australian cricketer Shane Warne - who has three children of his own - and claims her work and personal life balance is easy to maintain since she shares mutual interests with all her kids.

She continued: ''It's exciting for [Damien] and they're not fed up at all with life yet, they think it's just fantastic. It makes a big difference when your kids like what you do.''

Elizabeth Hurley was hosting a launch event for comparethemeerkat.com's special edition Agent Maiya toy.
