Elizabeth Banks, the American actress currently shooting the movie adaptation of 'The Hunger Games', claims she often gets mistaken for E! comedienne Chelsea Handler. Speaking on Handler's talk show 'Chelsea Lately', the actress recalled a particular case of mistaken identity in Toronto.
Elizabeth initially told Chelsea's studio audience, "My twin sister is here, everybody!", which prompted the famous duo to discuss the comparisons. The actress recalled how one fan mistook her for Handler during a visit to Canada, saying, "A guy walked up to me and said, oh my God my girlfriend loves you. She would die if I didn't get your autograph. This is so exciting.I'm thinking yeah, sweet. And he's like 'I just love your books. My Horizontal Life...I was like, Oh, he thinks he's meeting Chelsea Handler". Banks claimed she "could have ruined it" for the fan, but decided to tell him she was in town for a book tour. However it's not just fans that have made the mistake - Bank once tweeted, "Saw Chris Rock last night. He said, Hey, Chelsea Handler! We've met before. I'm 98.65% positive he was not kidding".
The actress attended the Hollywood premiere of her new movie 'Our Idiot Brother' on Tuesday (16th August 2011) The film follows an idealist, played by Paul Rudd, who barges into the lives of his three sisters.
