Actress Elisabeth Rohm took part in a charity walk in Los Angeles over the weekend (17-18Nov12) and raised more than $90,000 (£56,000) for medical research.
The Law & Order star was joined by her four-year-old daughter Easton August as thousands of other walkers across 40 states took to the streets to raise awareness of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's Give Thanks campaign.
Each participant carried a sign throughout the 3.1-mile (five-kilometre) walk showing their support for the charity, and Rohm's read, "I Give Thanks For Hope For The Future".
The actress later told fans about the event on her Twitter.com page, writing, "90k (thousand) raised today from the walk (for) st Jude this morning for all the children who deserve our support! What a Saturday!"
Later this month (Nov12) Rohm and her daughter will visit the hospital in Memphis, Tennessee for a tour. It was founded by late U.S. entertainer Danny Thomas in 1962 to find cures for child cancer and other deadly diseases.
