Elisabeth Rohm has joined the cast of 'Abduction'.

The 'Heroes' actress will star alongside Taylor Lautner, Sigourney Weaver, Lily Collins and Maria Bello in the action-thriller, which is to be directed by John Singleton.

The movie tells the story of a young man who goes on the run after discovering his parents aren't his own when he sees his baby picture on a missing persons' website.

Rohm will play the role of Lautner's biological mother, a part which British actress Emily Mortimer was originally cast in.

Shawn Christensen and Jeffrey Nachmanoff have written the screenplay and filming is set to start later this year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Rohm has previously had roles in 'The Kreutzer Sonata' and 'Miss Congeniality 2: Armed & Fabulous' alongside Sandra Bullock.

She will next appear in the features 'Chlorine' and 'Minkow'.

As well as 'Heroes', the 37-year-old star's television credits also include 'Law & Order' and 'Angel'.
