Elisabeth Moss has been one of the names on everybody's lips this week after finally opening up about her failed marriage to 'Saturday Night Live' star Fred Armisen. In a partnership that at the time seemed to be over in a blink of an eye - though Kim Kardashian has since raised the bar on whirlwind celebrity marriages following her 72 day matrimony with Kris Humphries - the pair got hitched in October of 2009 after getting engaged in January of that year. However by June 2010 they split and by September of that year had filed for divorced bringing a sorry end to a relationship that showed much promise initially.
Moss has been coy on the subject ever since, but opened up to the New York Post's Page Six Magazine to spill the beans on her ex-husband - and she wasn't wholly positive. "One of the great things I heard someone say about him is, 'He's so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.' To me, that sums it up," said the 'Mad Men' star.
The rumours were that Moss and Armisen had split with the latter romantically linked to fellow 'Saturday Night Live' cast member Abby Elliott at the time, something that was never proved. Moss now claims that she couldn't be happier with her freedom, stating "It's fun to go out at night and not know what's going to happen. I'm addicted and obsessed with my freedom in that sense." The revelations have come in good time, 'Mad Men' returns to screens after 17 months away on March 25th to begin its fifth season.
