Elijah Wood is to appear alongside Vin Diesel and Michael Caine in 'The Last Witch Hunter'.
Elijah Wood has joined the cast of 'The Last Witch Hunter'.
The film - which also stars 'Game of Thrones' actress Rose Leslie - centres on an immortal witch hunter, played by Diesel, who joins forces with a witch to stop New York City's covens from releasing a plague.
'The Last Witch Hunter' has been scripted by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama, who penned 'Gods of Egypt'.
Vin Diesel recently spoke about the new flick, saying he was particularly looking forward to working alongside Michael Caine.
He said: ''I'm about to do a movie with Breck Eisner called 'The Last Witch Hunter' where I play a 700-year-old New Yorker, which should be a lot of fun.
''Working opposite Michael Caine will be a blast. I've always wanted to work with Michael Caine so it'll be the first time I get to work with Michael Caine.''
'The Last Witch Hunter' is set to be released later this year.
The actor will have his fifth outing as the secret agent in 'Spectre' this November.
The director faced some backlash when Redmayne was announced as playing the transgender pioneer.
The rapper was denied entry to Britain on August 26th.
