As the entire world focuses it's attention on the world cup in South Africa, Universal Music South Africa get set to launch the special talents of a brand new piano-driven pop artist Elan Lea.
Elan's debut album 'My Only Excuse' and exciting first single 'Right Anyway', released June 21st, mark the arrival in the UK of a special talent.
Elan has worked with some high caliber writers and producers on 'My Only Excuse' including Guy Chambers (Katie Melua, Robbie Williams, Beverley Knight and Natasha Bedingfield) and Diane Warren (the GRAMMY award winning songwriter behind LeAnn Rimes' 'How do I Live,' Toni Braxton's 'Un-Break My Heart,' and Aerosmith's 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing').
Recorded in London, Cape Town and Johannesburg 'My Only Excuse' is a melodic pop album recorded with UK writers and producers Matt Ward and Dean Gillard Full Phatt/FP (Usher, Taylor Swift, The Saturdays, Mutya Buena, Lemar).
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
