Edyta Sliwinska will not be returning to hit US show 'Dancing with the Stars' because she wants to concentrate on starting a family. Despite being the longest serving professional dancer on the show, it seems her tenure is over, as she recently announced she will not play any part in Season 11. Sliwinska told her Facebook page, "After 10 seasons I felt like it's time to think about my future. I'm pursuing my education and looking forward to other projects that perhaps you will hear about, but my main goal is to finish my degree and start building a family."
Sliwinska is married to ALEX MAZO - another professional dancer on the show who won the first season - and she admits wanting more freedom in her personal life as the main reason for her departure, stating, "The show will not be there for me forever and I do not want to depend every season on the producer's decision about the next half a year of my life. I want to start building a foundation for the future and I felt that the show was limiting me."
The Polish born dancer, who is a student at UCLA, has had a relatively successful history on 'Dancing with the Stars' - in Season 3 she finished third with actor Joey Lawrence, and in Season 6 she finished second with NFL player JASON TAYLOR, however, she and comedian Jeffrey Ross finished last in Season 7.
