Chinese director Edward Yang is set to be posthumously honoured at the Pusin Film Festival in South Korea later this year (07).
The filmmaker, who died last month (Jul07) at his Beverly Hills, California home aged 59 after a long battle with colon cancer, will be named Asian Filmmaker Of The Year at the event, which will also screen a retrospective of his works.
The award will be presented to his widow, pianist Kaili Peng, at the October ceremony.
