Actor Edward Norton will be honoured for his contribution to theatre at a glitzy gala in New York on Monday (30Jan12).
Officals at The Signature Theatre Company have handpicked Norton to receive the Signature's Playwrights' Award, created to "recognise individuals and organisations who, through their vision and leadership, have placed their own signatures upon American theatre".
The American History X star landed his breakthrough role in the group's 1993 adaptation of Edward Albee's Fragments, and is a trustee and long-time supporter of the company.
