A Scottish festival featuring Ed Sheeran and Deadmau5 has been marred by a drug-related death.
A teenage reveller at the RockNess festival collapsed and died on Saturday night (09Jun12) after reportedly using 'legal high' substance Benzo Fury.
He was taken to hospital in Inverness, where he died in the early hours of Sunday after failing to respond to treatment.
Two other revellers are being treated for serious conditions brought on by the use of the drug.
Police officials have warned festival-goers to beware the substance, stating, "People may think that 'legal highs' are safe, because they are not classed as a controlled drug, but they are extremely dangerous.
"If anyone has the tablets described or any other drug, whether controlled or a 'legal high', in their possession, they are advised not to take them and to hand these in."
The three-day festival began on a low note when two men were killed in a road accident involving a bus transporting music fans to RockNess.
