Mumford & Sons Fans Pranked By Masquerading Comedians In 'Hopeless Wanderer' [Video]

Mumford And Sons Jason Sudeikis Ed Helms Will Forte Jason Bateman

The video begins just like any other Mumford & Sons vid; nothing to suspect here. Rays of sunlight obscure the banjo twanging members as they play in the middle of a country field. There's out of focus striding through long grass and slow motion walking up a dirt track with their folk instruments. There's no reason to believe the band on video could be any other performers than the British folksters themselves.

Mumford & Sons
The Group Let Themselves Be Parodied.

That is, until the sun-streaked dust clears and our suspicions are aroused. Is that really Marcus Mumford? Isn't Ted Dwane's beard looking a bit raggier than usual? Wait a minute - that worn, rustic, wooden instrument isn't really being played. They're fakes!

The Hangover III

The big global release this week is The Hangover Part III, and the cast has been jetting around the world for premieres in Los Angeles and London, where fans screamed at actors Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms and Ken Jeong as they paraded up the red carpet. The critical response hasn't been quite as positive.

The 66th Cannes Film Festival winds down this weekend in France. Critics are praising new films by Steven Soderbergh (Behind the Candelabra starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon), Alexander Payne (Nebraska with Bruce Dern) and the Coen Brothers (Inside Llewyn Davis with break-out actor Oscar Isaac). They weren't so thrilled by Ryan Gosling's reunion with Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn for Only God Forgives, although they praised costar Kristin Scott Thomas for going far against type.

Hangover III Reviews – Wolfpack Fail To Say Goodbye In Style

Bradley Cooper Ed Helms Zach Galifianakis

It seems the Hangover franchise is still hung-over from its initial outing; it simply hasn’t been able to recreate the magic of the first film. The reviews are in for the Wolfpack’s third outing, and it’s not looking pretty.

Click for the Hangover III Trailer

There will have been one goal for this film, okay maybe two: be better than the second film, which was awful, and make loads of money. According to the reviews, you can kiss that first objective goodbye. Having said that, the second film was really awful. “Bad scripting, bad plotting, terrible joke formulation, and not a single character actually having a hangover until part-way through the end credits. What kind of a Hangover movie is this?” ponder The Telegraph in their review. “Tonally a complete departure from the rest of the series, which is at once laudably brave and disappointingly unfunny,” write film magazine, Empire, while Stefan Pape of HeyUGuys writes: “So as we bid farewell to Phil, Stu and Alan once and for all, it's just not quite the riotous comedy you had hoped it would be."

Hangover Part III - The Wolf Pack Are Packing It In After Three Glorious Adventures

Bradley Cooper Ed Helms Zach Galifianakis Todd Phillips

It started as a joke; a low-budget, quirky movie about three guys who have the night of their lives, and then have the time of their lives sorting out the mess they’ve made. Now, it’s a multi-million dollar franchise, and this weekend, it enters its third and final movie, The Hangover Part III.

“We just stumbled on that one thing and thought it would be an interesting thing to explore as far as what that meant and what it's about. So we didn't do it like that, but I do know the movies pretty well,” says Director Todd Phillips on how the Hangover idea was born.

Dr. Seuss' The Lorax Review

Weak
Dr Seuss' eco-fable is transformed into a raucous adventure comedy in this colourful animated feature. And it's a little embarrassing really. Not only has the story been padded out with lame jokes and unnecessary side plots, but the film's pacing is all over the place, leaving both kids and their parents bored.

In the all-fake town of Thnead-ville, presided over by a greedy corporate-boss mayor (Riggle) who sells breathable air in bottles, nerdy pre-teen Ted (Efron) is trying to impress a girl (Swift). So with the encouragement of his grandmother (White), he sneaks beyond the town's walls to find an extinct real tree. There the outcast Once-ler (Helms) tells him the story of the Lorax (DeVito), an orange fur-ball who speaks for the trees and finally gave up hope.

Unless there's a change of heart and people recognise that they need the trees after all.

Jeff, Who Lives At Home Review

Good
While not hugely memorable, this enjoyably ridiculous comedy has moments that are sharp, thoughtful and hilarious. And the filmmakers give their gifted cast the space to create characters who are amusing and resonant.

At 30, Jeff (Segel) is wasting his life in his mother's basement. Frustrated that he's not more ambitious, like older brother Pat (Helms), Mom (Sarandon) sends him out on an errand. But everything that happens when he's outside reinforces his belief in some sort of cosmic destiny that's guiding his every step. He also gets involved with Pat, who's showing off his new Porsche just as he learns that his wife (Greer) might be cheating on him. Meanwhile, Mom is perplexed by the fact that she has a secret admirer at work.

Jeff, Who Lives At Home Trailer

Jeff could not be more different from his brother Pat. Where Pat is a successful businessman in a happy marriage, Jeff lives in his mother's basement all day, smoking weed and watching his favourite film, Signs. Drawing deep significance from the film, Jeff starts to believe that everything in life has a purpose. This takes its toll on his mother, who is tired of Jeff staying indoors all day. Also becoming irritated by his brother's behaviour is Pat, who has much better things to do than pick up after his brother.

The Hangover Part II Review

Weak
Proving that 2009's The Hangover was a fluke, this sequel returns to filmmaker Todd Phillips' more usual mean-spirited style, abandoning laughs for a series of painfully awkward scenarios held together by a contrived plot.

Having finally put the embarrassment of "that" weekend in Las Vegas behind him, Stu (Helms) is ready to settle down with fiance Lauren (Chung), who's planning their romantic wedding in Thailand. But after a night drinking on the beach, Stu wakes up in a Bangkok flat with fast-thinking friend Phil (Cooper), nutcase Alan (Galifianakis), an eerily smart monkey and Mr Chow (Jeong), the criminal who caused such chaos in Vegas. The problem is that Lauren's 16-year-old brother Teddy (Mason Lee) is missing. But what exactly happened last night?

Cedar Rapids Review

Excellent
This goofy fish-out-of-water comedy is deeply endearing. As it follows its central character on a clumsy voyage of discovery, we can't help but laugh even as we try not to recognise ourselves in him.

In Brown Valley, Wisconsin, Tim (Helms) is an earnest mid-30s insurance salesman in love with his 7th-grade teacher (Weaver), who's only using him for sex. Oblivious to the moral failings of people around him, Tim heads to an insurance convention in Cedar Rapids, the biggest city he's ever seen. There his worldview is smashed by the outrageous antics of his colleagues, including party boy Dean (Reilly), married but flirty Joan (Heche) and repressed nice guy Ronald (Whitlock), as they all contend with insurance president Orin (Smith) for coveted Two Diamonds status.

The Hangover Review

Excellent
The guys' trip to Vegas. The bromance of the bachelor party. These are current cultural givens, situations that suggest their own outrageous events without you ever visualizing the final results. It's all sin, shots, and strippers (mandatory on the strippers). Anyone venturing into such territory -- artistically, that is -- runs a two-fold risk of failing anticipation and flatly fulfilling expectations. It's within such complicated comedic realities that Old School's Todd Phillips comes to the concept, and he delivers big time. Uproariously funny, with one certified star-making turn among all the anarchy, this pre-marriage road trip turns the events of one night of drunken debauchery into the stuff of movie myth -- and you can't help but laugh all the way through.

Doug Billings (Justin Bartha) is getting married in two days, and his best friends Phil Wenneck (Bradley Cooper) and dentist Dr. Stu Price (Ed Helms) are taking him to Vegas for his bachelor party. Unfortunately, the groom's freakish future brother-in-law Alan (Zach Galifianakis) is tagging along as well. With their villa at Caesar's Palace secured, they head up to the hotel roof for a round of shots before hitting the strip. The next morning, Doug is gone and the remaining "party" members awake in a sea of destruction. Stu has lost a tooth. There's a newborn baby in the closet. And there's a real man-eating tiger in the bathroom. Hoping to track down their pal, Phil, Stu, and Alan begin searching. Eventually, they run into Asian gangsters, Mike Tyson, and Stu's quickie stripper bride Jade (Heather Graham), but no Doug. And time is running out before the groom has to walk down the aisle.
