American heavyweight Earnie Shavers signs a boxing glove for a fan at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The 67-year-old boxing legend is known for being one of the hardest punchers in the world of boxing, credited so by Muhammad Ali. He retired in 1983 after 16 years due to retinal complications and became a Christian minister in Phoenix for many years before moving to England and pastoring a church there in the early 2000s.
