Maze Runner actor Dylan O’Brien has resurfaced for the first time since injuring himself on the set of The Death Cure nearly five months ago. The actor was pictured on Sunday (July 31) posing with an excited fan, after he walked into the Jamba Juice where she works.

On Twitter, fan Vanessa wrote: “GUYS I JUST MET DYLAN O BRIEN HE JUST WALKED INTO JAMBA JUICE AND I TOOK HIS ORDER IM CRYING.” She then shared a pic of herself posing with the actor and added: “MY LIFE HAS BEEN MADE, meeting you was the best thing ever @dylanobrien.”

In the photo Dylan looks remarkably different since the last time he was seen, with the 23-year-old now sporting an impressively bushy beard. After the pic went viral Vanessa told fellow fans: “I'm happy for all of Dylan's fans getting to see that he is okay!!”

Dylan was injured on the set of Maze Runner: The Death Cure on March 18th. Production on the film was later shut down as he recovered from his injuries. According to reports he suffered a "concussion, facial fracture and lacerations.”

The actor had been in a harness on top of a moving vehicle when he was pulled off the vehicle unexpectedly and hit by another vehicle. Following the accident director Wes Ball told fans on twitter: “It’s been a whirlwind of emotions these past dew days."

“I’ve been overwhelmed with feelings of anger and sadness and guilt. But, ultimately. I find myself left with just a deep love and respect for Dylan," Bell added. "He is one tough cookie. I’m sorry for the grief this accident has caused his friends and family as well as my wonderful cast and crew."
