Fact: Duran Duran are so keen for fans to hear their new music, the pop supergroup has brought the release of their latest album forward a week. Paper Gods was scheduled to hit the Internet and stores on 18 September (15), but the Rio hitmakers have scratched that date from their calendars, and now the album will be available from 11 September (15). The album will be the group's 14th.

Fact: British pop legends Duran Duran have announced they are to tour the U.K and the U.S. later this year (15). The band confirmed the tour, which kicks off in Manchester, England on 27 November (15), after revealing their first studio album in nearly five years, Paper Gods, is due out in September (15).

Fact: Duran Duran have returned to the studio with producers Mark Ronson and Nile Rodgers to begin work on a new album. The Chic star co-produced the band's 1986 album Notorious, 2004's Astronaut, and Duran Duran's The Wild Boys hit, while Ronson co-produced their 13th studio release, 2010's All You Need Is Now. Duran Duran will also be working with former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante on the new album.

Fact: Duran Duran have re-scheduled their axed U.K. arena tour for December (11). All 11 shows, which were due to begin last month (May11), were cancelled after singer Simon Le Bon fell ill with throat problems. Four gigs in France, Holland, Denmark and Belgium, which were also axed, will now take place in September (11).
