Alice Temperley has launched a new scheme to support emerging creative talent.

The British designer - whose gowns are often worn by the Duchess of Cambridge and her sister Pippa Middleton - has revealed plans for the initiative Alice By Temperley Talent, which will see her choose a young model, actress, musician or artist to reinterpret and style her latest Alice By Temperley collection.

They will then be featured in a short film on the label's website, Facebook and twitter.

Alice said: "I am always on the lookout for new talent and love being inspired by unique skills and meeting artisans with passion for their craft. Alice by Temperley is our contemporary line whose muses are iconic artists in the history of film, music or art. It was appropriate to dedicate space and time to promote emerging talent through the platforms and audiences we have available to us, supporting the future icons."

The first creative talent chosen is unsigned singer/songwriter Isabel, who the designer discovered last year. The musician's debut music video sees her wearing Alice's designs.
