Drew Barrymore has started writing lifestyle blog posts for fashion-oriented site Refinery29.
Drew Barrymore has become Refinery29's guest editor at large.
The actress will contribute at least one blog post a month as part of her new role as the fashion-oriented website's very first celebrity editor.
She explained to WWD: ''When Refinery asked me to come on board, I thought, 'How fun'. I respect their taste. I trust them. I like 'where to' and 'how to lists' best and just the fun lifestyle direction and they completely have that.''
The '50 First Dates' star - who is expecting her second child with her husband Will Kopelman - will offer readers short and informative insights into her favourite things, with posts covering topics as varied as her top recipes to the 10 best books about raising toddlers.
Drew's sense of humour and down-to-earth nature make her a perfect fit for Refinery29, according to editor in chief Christene Barberich.
She said: ''Drew possesses so many genuine qualities that connect to us and our audience: She's smart, funny, confident, stylish, a natural-born entrepreneur with an artist's spirit....The list goes on.''
The 38-year-old star's very first post, entitled ''The Drew Barrymore Breakfast Sandwich You'll Want Every Morning'', is live today (09.01.14).
