Drake has finally released his hugely anticipated second album 'Take Care', despite a leak that saw some fans get their hands on the record last week. At the time, the rapper was praised for brushing aside the leak, telling fans to enjoy the record but buy it should they enjoy the tracks.
Now the record is available on shelves, it's tipped to top the Billboard Charts as well as R&B charts worldwide. The 25-year-old rapper, born Aubrey Drake Graham, rose to stardom by releasing free mixtapes online, including the well-received 'So Far Gone' in 2009. Despite his continued success and the strong reviews for 'Take Care', the rapper spoke to Reuters about his ambition to move into film and television. After appearing in two sketches on Saturday Night Live last month, Drake appears to have caught the acting bug, saying, "Acting is something I'm very, very eager to do especially after Snl. I'm really dying to get back into it.I'm definitely well on my way to finding key roles that will allow me to birth, or rebirth, an acting career". However, the superstar has one specific job in mind, saying, "I want to be on 'True Blood.I'm down, whatever they want to give me!".
Primarily recorded at his home in Toronto, 'Take Care' features collaborations with the like of Stevie Wonder, who Drake describes as being "like family" now. Elsewhere, his rumored former love Rihanna lends her vocals to the title track, while Nicki Minaj appears on 'Make Me Proud'.
