The former heavyweight world champion owes money to a number of parties, including $16.8 million (GBP10.5 million) to the American tax office and $3.84 million (GBP2.4 million) to Britain's INLAND REVENUE.
He also owes former lover KIMBERLEY SCARBOROUGH $49,600 (GBP31,000) in unpaid child support for their 12-year-old daughter.
Money troubled Tyson has filed a $99.2 million (GBP62 million) lawsuit against promoter Don King, who the sportsman claims defrauded him.
However, the boxer is being counter-sued for $19.84 million (GBP12.4 million) by British champion Lennox Lewis, who alleges Tyson reneged on a fight deal.06/08/2003 14:11
