DMX, the American rapper and actor who rose to fame in the late 1990's, has been caught in his Arizona prison with drugs, according to Dmx is currently serving a year in prison for violating a probation he received after being charged with reckless driving in 2002.
A representative for the prison wouldn't specify the kind of drugs that were found on the rapper, but law enforcement sources say the 40-year-old has been in trouble numerous times with officials. According to records, Dmx has broken several rules in the Yuma state prison since January - most notably, drug possession, failing or refusing a drugs test, smoking, being disrespectful to staff, disruptive and disorderly contact. He was supposed to be released tomorrow (13th July 2011), but due to his recent disciplinary infractions he is likely to remain in prison for at least another week and "possibly much longer". The rapper, real name Earl Simmons, served a 15-day jail sentence for drug possession in 2000 and then another jail sentence in 2001 for driving without a license and possession of marijuana.
As well as his role in the hit movie 'Romeo Must Die', Dmx is best known for his 1999 album '.And Then There Was X', which featured the hit-single 'Party Up (Up In Here)'.
