Hip-hop Dj Funkmaster Flex has reconciled with his wife following an altercation which resulted in his arrest for harassment on Friday (04Feb11).
The radio star, real name Aston George Taylor, Jr., found himself at the centre of a domestic violence investigation after police were called to the couple's Westchester, New York home.
His wife, Monica Joseph-Taylor, claimed the rap personality had been at the property moments before the authorities arrived and he had reportedly pushed her and attempted to break her phone, before allegedly sending her threatening messages.
Flex was later arrested and taken into custody on charges of harassment, aggravated harassment and criminal mischief. He was released on $500 (£330) bail and ordered to stay away from Joseph-Taylor.
But his wife has played down the incident, telling the New York Daily News, "We're doing OK."
Flex has also addressed the altercation, admitting he had fallen out with his wife of 11 years but was working on making amends: "I love my fans, and I encourage all of them to work things out in their own marriages."
He is due in court later this month (Feb11) to answer the charges.
