Dizzee Rascal's plans to go on hiatus until next year (12) are in tatters - the British rapper has been recording tracks for a new album in the U.S.
The Bonkers hitmaker told earlier this year (11) how he was putting his career on hold to "kick back (and) recharge my batteries" after working solidly since shooting to fame in 2003.
But the hard-working hip-hop star has already abandoned his plans to take it easy - he has been jetting between America and his native U.K. recording new collaborations with various fellow musicians.
He tells rock magazine Q, "I'm not supposed to be making an album right now, but I just don't stop. I've not been doing it in designated blocks, I've just been spending a lot of time in Miami and other places working with people. A lot of these people, you've got to go where they are and grab them whenever they're free."
