Dita Von Teese is "obsessed" with wallpaper.
The burlesque dancer - who was previously married to goth rocker Marilyn Manson - insisted on having a flocked velvet design put onto the walls of her Los Angeles home after falling in love with a similar design when she was a child.
She said: "When I was six, my family moved into a Victorian house with green and gold damask wallpaper.
"I thought it was the most Beautiful Thing I'd ever seen, but my mother ripped it all down. I've been obsessed ever since."
Dita - who is now dating Louis-Marie de Castelbajac -also wanted a "legendary" sleeping space and has a custom-designed silver princess bed with a built-in mirror.
"I was worried about it being a scratching post for my two cats, Aleister and Herman, but it seems to be OK."
