Fact: A New York hotel which inspired the movie Dirty Dancing is set to be demolished after more than 100 years in business. The Kutsher's Resort in the Catskill Mountains will be knocked down later this month (May14) to make way for a new $90 million (£56.25 million) spa. The fictional Kellerman's Resort in the 1987 film, which starred Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, has long been rumoured to have been based on the property where screenwriter Eleanor Bergstein spent her childhood summers.
