The actress-and-model finds it impossible to ditch her beloved cosmetics whenever she travels and ends up carting the contents of her entire bathroom cabinet around with her.
She told France's GLAMOUR magazine: ''My bathroom is filled with hundreds of products, tonnes of make-up. I've got just as many boxes of cosmetics in my Paris flat as I do in my Los Angeles apartment.
''When I'm travelling, I always take three vanity cases with me and can spend hours in duty free trying out new products.''
The 37-year-old star is fanatical about protecting her skin from the sun and believes her efforts are paying off.
Diane explained: ''Since I moved to LA, I've realised I need to take care of my skin. I never lie out in direct sunlight, I wear hats and when I'm filming outside, ill hide under a parasol. Every day without fail, I wear sunblock.
''It's become an automatic gesture. I can really see a difference, I don't have any marks or wrinkles yet.''
The German beauty joked that her healthy lifestyle and organic diet is ruined by her love of wine.
Diane quipped: ''I avoid junk food and I've got my own vegetable patch. In LA, it grows all year round! I've got cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados, oranges, melons, beetroots and lots of aromatic herbs. My only sin in wine, I love to drink. My friends even call me Sue Ellen [from 'Dallas']!''
