Diagrams' new single, Tall Buildings, is the lead single taken from the forthcoming debut album, Black Light, which will be released through Full Time Hobby on January 12th, 2012. Diagrams will be headlining London's Camp Basement on November 22nd, 2011.
Sam Genders is the brainchild behind Diagrams. He was previously in a band called Tunng, an experimental folk band that was formed in 2003; Sam left the band in 2007. In that time, Tunng released three studio albums to critical acclaim: Mother's Daughter And Other Songs; Comments Of The Inner Chorus and Good Arrows, which were released in 2005, 2006 and 2007 respectively.
Diagrams' debut live performance was at the End Of The World festival, alongside big names such as Laura Marling; Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Beirut. During their live shows, Diagrams has a revolving door of musicians - which have included Hannah Peel; Subliminal Kid and Micachu - and often grows to become a nine piece group.
