Destiny's Child wrapped up their career in Pasadena, California last night (07SEP05) by picking up two honours at the 2005 Soul Train Awards.
The trio, who will play their final concerts later this month (SEP05) before splitting up, took home awards for Best R+B/Soul Group Album (DESTINY FULFILLED) and Best R+B/Soul Group Single (SOLDIER) at the event.
Mariah Carey was also a double winner - she claimed Best R+B/Soul Album (The Emancipation Of Mimi) and Best R+B/Soul Single (WE BELONG TOGETHER) honours.
But the night belonged to soul queen Aretha Franklin, who was presented with the Lena Horne Award for Outstanding Career Achievements and then performed her hit RESPECT and a duet, UNTIL YOU COME BACK TO ME, with Stevie Wonder.
Alicia Keys, Missy Elliott and Ciara were among the other big winners.
