Rapper SHAWN 'JAY-Z' CARTER is not bothered by what actor Denzel Washington makes of his new album AMERICAN GANGSTER - it is the actor's 23-year-old son he cares about. The 37-year-old was so inspired by Washington's latest movie American Gangster, he recorded an album of the same name and dedicated it to the film's director, Ridley Scott. But Carter admits he isn't looking for approval from Washington - because his son is a bigger fan of the hip-hop star's music. Carter tells MTV.com, "(I'm) more (interested) for (one of his sons), because he follows my career. "Me and (Denzel) are very cool, but his son is a huge fan."
