Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore may be nearing the end of their tortuous divorce proceedings.

Moore was, according to TMZ sources, hoping for spousal support from Kutcher. However, it seems she will not be getting anything from her soon-to-be ex-husband. A number of lawyers are dealing with the case, both in New York and California. As TMZ reports the case is being judged in California where no spousal support is granted simply on the basis of who was responsible for ending the marriage. Moore allegedly attempted to argue Kutcher was responsible for the breakdown of their marriage as he committed adultery. Nevertheless, in California a "no fault" state their wealth and property will be divided fair and square.
Or will it? Sources close to Kutcher lead us to believe he's being "a little more generous than he had to be" with their property.
Demi Moore was previously married to Bruce Willis.
Moore, according to People, is also rankled that Kutcher's career has taken off and he is making a large amount of money (some sources claim $24 million a year) due to their contacts. A source speaking People said "Demi introduced him to powerful friends that took Ashton under their wings. He would not have been able to make so much money if he had not met them."
Moore and Kutcher have agreed on a settlement and the division of their property. They intend to file the papers, which still need to be signed, sometime next week.
The couple began dating in 2003 and married two years later. Moore announced she would be divorcing Kutcher in 2010. It was only in late 2012 when Kutcher filed the divorce papers. Nevertheless, three years after their separation it looks as though the proceedings are finally drawing to a close.
Kutcher has been dating Mila Kunis, his former co-star on That 70s Show, since April 2012. Some sources are claiming Kutcher is planning to propose to Kunis as "He can't wait to start his life with her."
